Simplicity is the end result of long, hard work, not the starting point. –Frederick Maitland
We know that keeping things simple is a favourable attribute both in our personal and work lives, we see it in common phrases such as KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid) or the more intellectually appealing occam’s razor.
It is important though, to note that there are two ways of getting to simple. One is to start at simple, and the other is to arrive at simple after sometimes exhaustive work, research and analysis has been done.
The problem with the former, is that there is often no substance or proof behind it. And could easily fall apart with questioning.
